Holden Astra VXR

Have had good feedback thus far and hence I have another friend who was keen to get his car sorted. No deep scratches or key marks, just the basic swirl marks and minor scratches and rough paint surface.

VW Golf GTi

My 2nd attempt into detailing, this time a friend of mine wanted to restore his paint surface on his VW Golf GTi and after seeing the result of the Rav4 he was keen for one.

Clay Bar picked up quite a fair bit of dirt from the paint surface

This time round I have used more steps into restoring this car:

• Wash and dry
• Clay bar
• Heavy cut with coarse cutting pad
• Fine cut with fine cutting pad
• Ultra fine cut with ultra fine cutting pad
• 3 coats of carnauba wax
• Wheels cleaned, tyres and plastic trims dressed

Toyota Rav 4

A friends car whom she had left behind for me to look after, being used regularly but was never washed properly or looked after with care. First attempt to detail a car with proper procedures and using a DA buffing machine. Just a few minor scratches and hazy looking clear coat.

This is how it looks Before Detail:

 

 

 

 

Car was then treated with the following:

• Washed and dried
• Clay bar to remove contaminants and wiped dry
• Condition of the car inspected for scratches/imperfections
• Machine buff with fine cutting pad, then
• Carnauba wax application with finishing pad and wiped off with microfibre towel
• Plastic trims and tyres are dressed, wheels cleaned
